PCB and Non-PCB Items

PCB Items

TCI is permitted by the EPA to accept all PCB material no matter what the regulatory category. All material received is cleaned and recycled based on the item’s profile or disposed of in an environmentally safe and effective fashion. Recycled items, which represent the largest portion of the items received, are send through the appropriate processes where they are sorted, cleaned, sampled, and analyzed in our laboratory. This process continues until the item is proven to be non-regulated for PCB. Finally, the items are then able to be recycled and given a second life as new products. Items that must be destroyed, are profiled, manifested, and transported to an EPA approved facility for disposal. A certificate of disposal will be issued for all regulated material following process completion.

TCI prides itself on its reputation as an excellent environmental service provider. We offer our customers an environmentally safe and effective way to dispose of their PCB containing materials and leave liability concerns behind.

NON-PCB Items

Not only does TCI service our customers by offering them unparalleled PCB disposal services, but we also take care of their used/obsolete electrical equipment. These items are broken down into smaller units and used as recyclable material stock for a wide variety of purposes.
